• Module 2 – Writing Paragraphs:
  • 2–3 paragraph pieces
  • Topic sentences, transitions
• Module 3 – Grammar Growth:
  • Adverbs, prepositions, subject–verb agreement
• Module 4 – Practical Writing:
  • Instructions
  • Simple reports
  • Dialogue with quotation marks
• Module 5 – Short Story Creation:
  • Beginning–middle–end structure
  • Creating conflict and resolution

Assessment

Short essays, reading tests, a small creative writing book.

2. Language 2 (Second Language Begins)

Depending on region or school, this could be:

• a widely spoken alien language
• a regional galactic dialect
• a cultural heritage language
• or a “bridge language” used for diplomacy
