Abilities:

Antler Sweep - Swings its massive antlered head in a wide arc, smashing through trees and anything nearby.

Leaf Storm - Flicks its scales outward, launching a storm of hardened “leaves” that slice through the air like blades.

Sap Spit - Reiga expels a thick stream of sap from its mouth or nose-sword. The sap hardens quickly, trapping or slowing targets. The resinous material also contains mild toxins that numb flesh.

Nose Blade Lunge - Drives its bladed snout into prey with tremendous force, impaling and flinging them away.

Canopa Dive - From the treetops, Reiga launches downward like a falling trunk, using its body weight to crush the ground below.

The Reiga is a majestic oriental dragon, born from an ancient species of Delonix regia tree, one that grew to rival the great redwoods in height. From these colossal, flame-blossomed trees, the first Reiga are said to have emerged, their bodies infused with fiery essence of the blossoms and the enduring strength of the trunks. Scientists are still uncertain as to how they really came to be.

Ecology: Reiga dwell in dense flame-forest biomes, favouring regions where colossal Delonix regia still blooms. Their crimson, leaf-like scales provide camouflage among fiery blossoms, allowing them to ambush prey from the canopy. Reiga are territorial, with individuals claiming up to an entire valley of forest as their hunting and nesting grounds. They are known to consume large mammals, forest wyverns, and even other dragons, but will also feed on sap from ancient trees to replenish their vitality.

Physiology: Size: 120-150 meters long, serpentine and massive enough to coil around entire redwood trunks. Weight: Unknown, but estimates suggest thousands of tons. Scales: Hardened crimson plates shaped like leaves; shimmer with golden undertones in sunlight.
