Purpose

The Celestial Guard Directive (CGD) formalizes the creation, authority, and operational limits of the Celestial Guard — an elite, cross-realm enforcement force operating directly under the Celestial Council of Equilibrium (CCE).

The Directive ensures lawful balance between the Four Realms (Light, Shadow, Nature, Dream) and the material galaxy, maintaining order in times of cosmic unrest, interplanetary conflict, or divine intervention.

The Celestial Guard acts as the Council’s right hand — impartial, incorruptible, and omnipresent across the stars. The Directive grants them extraordinary power, but only within tightly defined boundaries to prevent celestial tyranny.

Article I – Formation and Structure of the Celestial Guard

1. The Celestial Guard shall consist of the following divisions:
   • Aureal Legion: Light-aligned operatives specializing in purification, restoration, and anti-corruption operations.
   • Umbrix Legion: Shadow-aligned agents responsible for covert enforcement, espionage, and realm stabilization.
   • Verdant Legion: Nature-aligned defenders managing planetary preservation, biotic crises, and terraformation protection.
   • Somnial Legion: Dream-aligned units dealing with psionic entities, mental anomalies, and flux disturbances.
   • Ecliptic Vanguard: A multi-realm strike force authorized for cross-realm incursions under Council order.
2. Each Legion is commanded by a Warden-Primarch, reporting directly to the Celestial Command Council (CCC).
3. The CGC (Celestial Guard Command) retains operational sovereignty from planetary governments, though cooperation is encouraged under Interstellar Consent Accord (ICA) protocols.
